it's been months since i write here.
half a year at ogilvy, lots of up and downs, and not forgetting the down and ups as well..
hav a nice boss, nice colleagues(thou always changing) but all are good,
learn a lot esp paul (really thanks for being patient and the chance given)
now just hav to pray really hard..

i guess it's time to change picture too.

and quite a shake all of a sudden.. earthquake somewhere probably..

loads of issues to clear.

another day i can't rest properly. it's just sunday. pretty screwed. strange dream. strange moth in bathroom, strange dust all over my house, strange cat lying around, strange person crawling like a worm alone, strange tv showing strange stupid show, strange hair and fur floating around, strange ants swimming in drinking water, strange day having me strangely disturbed, strange call on strange mum issue, strange nothing for me to feel strangely mono and uneventful, strangely wasting my days away with my strange emptiness strangely screwed and drained. i'm a goner

a miserable weekend, straining all my strength to puke, couldn't even leave my bed and was attacked by serious headaches. and as expected, i got another fking insomnia and still awake now and going to work in an hrs time. Mine is a totally screwed weekend, extending still. Hoping so hard to smile at the end of the day, but in fact i don't know who to smile at. Keeping too much, absorbing too much and now complaining too much. and i'm not sure who am i with. im tired and drained to be strong, what's next? whatever i worth. why am i worth this way. wasting..

I admit that I'm amused that they make their way through
to have starbucks in a cultural site that weigh quite something in
a country(especially china).

Thou it's quite a good effort to have seen such disharmonised scene
exist, (quite cool actually, ppl are opening up)
but on the other hand i agreed too with majority that
it's pretty incongruous to locate in such a place.

For example we might be seeing starbucks at Taj Mahal in India,
pyramid at Egypt or maybe Great Wall of China too..??

hmmm...

Ok momi is my cat, he was taken care by gerald when i'm in hk..
and momi had done his usual escape thing at his place..
This time round it was pretty dramatic as everyone caught him in time at the 6th floor when he gazed out at the edge looking pretty drained..


And now he's back.. with softer fur!! and with new toys i've got for him and a more tidy and cleaner house i've packed for him to abused with..
I wonder if he remember me?

It's been long since I catch up with Remy, the guy who is everywhere
and knows everyone on the street, in any part of the world haha..
The one with the mix of interests in metal and contemporary unplugged love song..

It all traces back when we playing the ping pong, meeting his random friends,
sharing exotic knowledges, discussing gals, playing guitars together and form metal
band and staging here and there, drinking hard liquor and any kinds of business,
it really been a great while then..

i miss performing as "Arioch".. after years of silent..

ehh.. and me always very concerned if the melody is melodic and played right and

Happy new year~ 07

Hk trip is a nice one, especially when it is winter, i don't have to explain
why I'm still in my long sleeves and no sweat.. cool!!

*Congrats to fiona and leo for the marriage despite all the difficulties..

Dress formal a little, shake hand with thousands of guests
whom i don't know at all~

Visit my aunt a little, take tram and also the usual 7x7 dishes of vegetables attack~

I finally miss my homegrown place, it is more vibrant, more crowded, more pretty people, more pretty shops and items, cheap or exp, more surprise to anticipate, more witty silly ads, more magazines, more accessible, more reckless cab drivers,moregood food which revive my childhood, more cantonese to feel home... And as usual and very appreciated, the ppl of my family is sweet and warm to this sick kid whom had a gloomy youth.
and they are very nice to her, esp my mum(surprised)..
I hope she had a good time and sweet memoriesthere~

I guess she did hav a great time spending shopping, viewing, eating and having great time at the vibrant late nights there, which indeed prove her big luggage useful.
On the other hand, i've got a watch, shoes, wallet, cd pouch, laptop pouch, some souvenirs for frens.......
that's enough~ :)

Have a rewarding shopping at market, bargain with auntie on her 30yrs old plus clothes. She's such a persistent sales I should say, digging out surprising stuff relentlessly with her husband and tried selling them all to me.

victory for a poor budget guy like me!

F/R (Fine over Rough) is what i would summerise my
new works lately. I've gone through the
intricate drawings with high-low amount of details
and weird composition done previously (see previous blog),
generally it causes most people failing to focus and oso the
subject is just as weird and mysterious still.

Coming to the next phase, what's next is space and minimal.
The focus will be much clear but the meaning would
probably be just as subtle. Honestly it saves a little time,
but to figure out the best merge of rough and fine strokes,
and the best representation of these strokes on facial
resemblance is still quite a task.

Besides viewing technical details that can
only be seen in bigger format, the choice of elements, layout,
concept would prove to add a little touch to the overall
styling too i guess.
Will do a little write up for each pieces soon.
